Am I Alone on This???
02.29.04 (9:46 pm)   [edit]
The election fraud issue is huge.

Not enough people are speaking out about the perils of electronic voting, especially paperless.

It will take a large majority of voices to prevent this hijacking of democracy?

In 2002, there was a widespread Republican upset in areas not expected. The voting machine of choice was Diebold.
I fear that Democracy has already been lost, because people are so ignorant of this issue.
My local newspaper won't write about it, only a few will.

The New York Times is faithful to the issue,
but County by County,
State by State,
elections officials are buying PAPERLESS voting machines, which cannot be audited. Made by companies that also make ATMs. (Funny, they make them with printers).

I think that everyone's vote should count, and if the public can safely accept the election as authentic, then democracy thrives.

When the elections are highly contested, then democracy suffers.

Meanwhile, the Bush family makes a fortune off of every bad thing that happens. War, social security robbed, oil, etc.

Did you know that the U.S. dollar is worth half of what it was worth in the beginning of 2000?

I digress.
None of this matters if our vote is cast on paperless, closed source electronic voting machines.

If you have to vote on such a machine, you would be better off to vote absentee.

Howard Stern Show - Dissent, not Indecent
02.29.04 (9:24 pm)   [edit]
Janet Jackson's right boob thing was a set up, so that censorship can be used against those guilty of political dissent. She was used, and figured it out after the fact.

I knew it.
Now, with tv stations no longer really live, but on time delay, I doubt you will ever clear dissent again!

Howard Stern Kicked Off Clearchannel
"Saturday 28 February 2004

"Besieged shock jock Howard Stern taunted his government critics yesterday by skipping his usual congressional and FCC attacks and tearing right into the top guy - President Bush."
"Stern also said he fears his 'suspension' last Wednesday by radio behemoth Clear Channel has turned into a firing."

"I might be taken off all the stations very soon, and my last words to you are 'G.W.B.,' " Stern told listeners yesterday.

"Get him out of office. I'm tellin' you, man, he's in dangerous territory [with] a religious agenda and you gotta vote him out - anyone but Bush," Stern railed.

Stern, whose raunchy wake-up show was yanked from six Clear Channel stations until, according to the company, they are "assured [it] will conform to acceptable standards of responsible broadcasting," said he fears he's history."

This is just par for the family course, however; William's brother, Prescott Jr., is head of the America-China Chamber of Commerce, while Pretzel's brother Neil is in bed with the son of former communist chieftain Jiang Zemin http://www.informationclearin...

"Within our team, we've identified a crucial role we call (affectionately) the Geek Organizer. No, that's not an organizer of geeks. It's a person who combines the leadership and communication skills of a political organizer with the technical skills of a computer nerd. How rare are these people? We don't know. But we know they exist, because we've built our organization around them."

At MoveOn.org, we need these people, right now. And we know that among our contacts are many progressive organizations that have a similar immediate need. We're betting that among our membership we have the talent we're looking for. So we'd like to invite you to join us in an experiment: A two-week campaign to identify Geek Organizers and match them to opportunities in the community. It's a virtual job fair.

E-Voting Hall of Shame in NC - Could this be happening in your state too???
02.26.04 (2:01 pm)   [edit]
Each state in the U.S. is affected by the failures of Electronic Voting. Here is what I have discoverd in mine -

North Carolina's Electronic Voting Hall of Shame:

2000 Election - Duplin County
Duplin County: The Duplin County Board of Elections staff was removed due to allegations of fraudulent and criminal behavior,

2000 Election - Harnett County
The Harnett County Board of Elections staff was forced to resign for failure to keep adequate records. An audit found that most of the voter information in the county database was incorrect, including many unauthorized changes to voter addresses.

2000 Election Mecklenburg County
Mecklenburg County (which contains most of Charlotte): A number of formal complaints have been filed and affidavits collected by voters alleging various voting irregularities in predominantly African-American precincts. http://www.democracysouth.org...

2002/09/12 - Robeson County elections director was fired after what was described in news reports as “an error-ridden primary” malfunctioning electronic tabulators, improper ballots, inaccurate registration records, and polling places with no voting booths

2002/09/12-In Robeson County, ballot tabulating machines failed to work properly in 31 of 41 precincts Local election officials said the problem was the result of a software glitch, and ballots had to be recounted.

2002/11/02 WAKE COUNTY -- Electronic voting machines-problems at two Wake County voting sites. Election officials said it appears some of the high-tech machines cannot count

2002/12/10 WAYNE COUNTY - In the 2002 general election, a computer miscount overturned the House District 11 result in Wayne County, North Carolina.
Incorrect programming caused machines to skip over several thousand party-line votes,
both Republican and Democratic. Fixing the error turned up 5,500 more votes and reversed the election for state representative.

AT LEAST THEY COULD RE-COUNT THIS ONE, BUT COMPUTER PROBLEMS AREN'T ALWAYS DETECTED, AND MAYBE ALL OF THEM WEREN'T:
Posted on Tuesday, December 10, 2002.
Vexing problems, but ...
Intemperate criticism can be a boomerang
Wayne County voters and taxpayers were justifiably disappointed when problems occur in recording and tabulating their votes.
The recent election problem was particularly disconcerting to candidates in the House race between Rep. Phil Baddour and Mount Olive Mayor Louis Pate.
The initial count gave the victory to Baddour.
But after the computer problem was discovered, a corrected version -- confirmed by a hand-count -- showed Pate the winner.

Letter to Senator Edwards: Nov 2004 Election at Risk!
02.26.04 (11:17 am)   [edit]
To: info@johnedwards2004.com
Dear Senator Edwards:

Please review and respond:

North Carolina and the other states need your help.
ELECTION REFORM NEEDED BEFORE NOVEMBER 2004
Elections are coming up soon and there has been no true real reform to prevent another Election 2000 Debacle.
After 4 years, there are more risks for fraudulent elections than ever!
VOTER TURNOUT RISKED BY LACK OF CONFIDENCE:Even the everyday public is finally picking up on the fact that current electronic voting systems are vulnerable to hacking, programming misconduct (due to closed source language), power outages, system crashes and most of all, lack of ability to audit
systems and do recounts.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TO RESTORE TRUST OF VOTERS:That is why I am imploring you on behalf of the members in my group,
many who have already written to you and on behalf of everyday citizens of North Carolina.

COMPUTER SCIENTISTS ENDORSE S-1980 ELECTRONIC VOTING BILL
February 25, 2004 - Electronic voting watchdog organization VerifiedVoting.org today endorsed S. 1980, an electronic voting bill introduced in December 2003 by Senator Graham (FL).

SENATOR GRAHAM'S BILL FASTEST ROUTE TO RESTORING TRUST
"We support Senator Graham's bill because it not only incorporates the critical requirement for paper audit trails but also mirrors Rep. Holt's bill in the House," said VerifiedVoting.org Legislative Analyst Bob Kibrick.

"Passage of the Holt and Graham bills is the
fastest route to restoring trust in the elections upon which our democracy depends."

S-1980 ONLY BILL THAT IMPLEMENTS AUDIT TRAILS IN TIME FOR NOVEMBER 2004 ELECTION While the other two Senate bills also make provisions for audit trails, only the Graham bill does so in a manner that can be implemented in time for the November 2004 election.

ELECTRONIC VOTING BILLS COMPARED
Verified Voting has posted on its website a report comparing in detail three electronic voting bills under consideration in the U.S. Senate. http://www.verifiedvoting.org...

S.1980 WILL PROTECT NOV 2004 ELECTION,
S.1986 WILL NOT
I see that you have co-sponsored voting machine reform bill (S.1986).
Please take a closer look at S 1980 which is our only hope of having a fair election in 2004.
Please respond at your earliest convenience.

U.S. Going Bananas! Slavery in Florida NOW!

Human rights report cites human trafficking issues in Florida and South Carolina.

The Center for Advancement of Human Rights did the actual study, and its report details how these women were kept enslaved by armed guards, etc. These young women were tricked into slavery by FEMALE recruiters. The recruiters told the girls of jobs they would get paying $400 per week, 10 times what the going wages in Mexico were.

Pretty much guarded and isolated 24 hrs a day, some of the customers were sympathetic and tried to rescue the girls once they realized the girls were enslaved. Armed pimps prevented these rescues.
Some customers reported the slavery to Police Officials, but somehow the pimps were always tipped off and hid the girls before a bust could be done.

Read the report, it is sad but you need to know.
Mainstream media and the government enable this to go on, allowing it to continue. Main webpage for The Center for Advancement of Human Rights here: http://www.cahr.fsu.edu/cahr....

Link to the report about slavery in the U.S. here: http://www.cahr.fsu.edu/H%20-%20Chapter%202.pdf

Its Official - National Impeach Bush Day March 20 and Here is Why
02.24.04 (9:04 pm)   [edit]
Thanks to Winston Smith for the most logical suggestion for THE day.
I have forwarded the suggestion the www.buzzflash.com's wonderful website.

Here it is:

March 20 should be IMPEACH BUSH DAY as it is the anniversary of the neo-con's illegal and immoral invasion into Iraq based upon Bush's LIES.

This would be a great day to email, phone or fax your congressmen and senators, asking that they impeach the Shrub.

Also a great day to send out the "Bush Lied Soldiers Died" buzzflash premium postcards. Actually, send them a few days ahead of time, to remind everyone to mark March 20 on their calender!

regards;
Your loyal reader and anti shrub

For Want of a Beautiful Mind - Or You're Dead! Words of a pResidents Mother

"...why should we hear about body bags, and deaths, and how many, what day it's gonna happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it's, it's not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?"
-- Barbara Bush on ABC/Good Morning America, March 18, 2003 http://www.monitor.net/monito...

Interview with Larry King,
"And you can criticize me, but don't criticize my children and don't criticize my daughters-in-law and don't criticize my husband, or you're dead."
http://www.voxfux.com/archives/00000094.htm" title="http://www.voxfux.com/archives/00000094.htm" target="_blank"http://www.voxfux.com/archive...

BUSH: Well, you know, mothers are allowed to be proud of their sons. And it gets a little old when 10 grown men run around the country not talking about what they're going to do, but knocking my precious, courageous, brilliant son. That's a mother speaking.

KING: What's the biggest difference from being the husband -- being the wife of a president and the mother of a president?

BUSH: Well, first of all, you have to watch the father of the president suffer. And it hurts when your children are criticized. It hurts a lot.

KING: He takes it badly?

BUSH: He and I both do. He -- he curses, and I grit my teeth.
But, no, he really -- he knows that's the name of the game. But it gets pretty ugly.

KING: But was it harder for you...

BUSH: Much.

KING: ...when he -- when the current president is criticized than when the husband was criticized?

BUSH: Right.

KING: How do you explain it -- motherly?

BUSH: Motherly. And fatherly. I mean, that's just a normal reaction.
But the same would be true if something happened that was difficult for Jeb or for Doro or Neil or Marvin. And you can criticize me, but don't criticize my children and don't criticize my daughters-in-law and don't criticize my husband, or you're dead.

Halliburton pays Iraqis $100.00 a month - Pays Asians $300.00 a month for same work...Mess Hall very
02.22.04 (7:53 pm)   [edit]
Meanwhile, qualified Iraqi businesses say they are shut out of the
reconstruction of their own country and some 70% of Iraqi workers are
unemployed. Even those Iraqis that are hired by companies like Halliburton
are getting paid substantially less than their foreign counterparts.

Iraqi salaries start at $100 a month and imported South Asian workers get three times that. Meanwhile Halliburton is being investigated by the US military for overcharging US taxpayers to the tune of at least $16 million.

Mess Hall an accurate name: The Pentagon reported finding "blood all over the floor," "dirty pans," "dirty grills," "dirty salad bars" and "rotting meats ... and vegetables" in four of the military messes the company operates in Iraq.

Lost.

There is a last resort, but you have to do it in a timely fashion....
File an absentee vote. You request it, it is mailed to you, then you complete it and mail it back. No machine.

In California, you have until Feb. 24 to mail in their request for an absentee ballot.
California Voter is also calling on citizens to report any problems they witness with the voting machines to the secretary of state's toll-free hotline, 1-800-345-VOTE.

Struggling to get your vote counted
02.19.04 (9:23 pm)   [edit]
The fight for verified voting is getting desperate:

My U.S. Congressman says that passing HR 2239 would not help the November 2004 Election. Not enough time he says. They have had 4 years to get this right, had no intention of letting our votes be counted in the first place.

This is not just a U.S. problem, it is a world-wide problem!

Do a google news search on electronic voting and you will see!

It has come to the point of individual states trying to change their state laws to protect our vote. Federal laws require an eh um Act of Congress! Wont happen.

Ohio, Georgia and others have bills before their state assemblies. We are working on one in NC.

Last resort: Filing injunctions.
Got Lawyers anybody?

If you vote on a touch screen machine, the software could change your vote and you will never know.

The problem with the Touch Screen Machines and other Paper-Less voting machines:
Voter cant verify their vote
Recounts are impossible
Software malfunctions losing votes or miscounting
Software written with "secret" source code
Software (Diebold) written by convicted embezzler
Companies owned and operated by foreign entities
Companies executives convicted of fraud and bribery
Companies CEO (of Diebold) promises their state (Ohio) to carry President Bush
There is more, much more........

GW Bush Abortion Hypocracy-paid for ex-girlfriend's abortion

Story in the Daily Telegraph, Australia
Bush 'paid for abortion'

February 18, 2004

PRESIDENT Bush faced an extraordinary claim last night that he once paid for a girl-friend to have an abortion.

The pro-life president arranged for the procedure in the early 1970s, according to porn publisher Larry Flynt.

The controversial publisher of Hustler magazine told the New York Daily News he will make the claims in a book coming out this summer.

'This story has got to come out,' said 61-year-old Flynt. 'There's a lot of hypocrisy in the White House about this whole abortion issue. I've talked to the woman's friends.

'I've tracked down the doctor who did the abortion, I tracked down the Bush people who arranged for the abortion I got the story nailed.'

But Flynt would not disclose if he plans to name the woman.

"Photographs brought home from Iraq by a British soldier caused a scandal last year when he took them to be developed. One showed a prisoner of war, gagged and bound in netting, dangling from a forklift truck driven by a soldier. Others depicted squaddies performing sex acts close to Iraqi PoWs."

Why I Hope Bush is Re-Selected in 2004
02.15.04 (6:36 pm)   [edit]
Fact: Kerry has been chosen for the Democrats.

Another Skull and Bones Good Ole Boy in control of the U.S. Treasury and Tax Payer Dolllars.

No need for any crooks to worry, you will be safe if Kerry gets in.

Mass Media - you can only hope to grow even larger and more insideous, as the general public is only worried about Janets right boob, not the fact that there is virtually only 1 voice out there now. At least we are safe from Janet's milk bottle. A small price to pay for total media domination.

Oil Companies and power companies - you are safe again. You get a free pass.

Halliburton, don't worry, you and all Skull and Bones guys are beholden to each other.

Heck, all of the corrupt corporate insiders - don't worry, everything is going according to plan, Democrats will be lulled into a false sense of security, a "Democrat" has won.

No indictments, tax cuts for rich will be permanent.
No health coverage for old, sick, poor, only for the senate and congress.

Diebold machines in every state, votes tallied for Kerry for President and Republicans in virtually every other office.

Fools. You will be lulled into complacency, thinking the disaster has been averted.

Like a frog in a pot of hot water, the temperature will go up so slowly, you will not even realize it is boiling before it is too late.

The only thing that could save you is if somehow a freak accident occurred, and the machines actually selected George Bush. Then, and only then will real change occur, when even the republican voters vomit when there is nothing left to steal from our country and a Republican is overseeing it.

With Kerry, the public will be distracted, and no real change will occur.
Democrats will be fooled into thinking that the electronic voting machines must be right, after all a so-called "Democrat" was made pResident.

I think I will vote for Bush and pray he gets selected, so that a real revolution will occur. Better than being boiled alive.

SUCKERS AGAIN! Kerry's ties to Big Media-who really chose him?
02.13.04 (3:05 pm)   [edit]
Remember the old saying that Bush flubbed:
Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on me.

FOOLS FOOLS FOOLS!
Did you really think that Kerry would be the frontrunner?
Aren't you a little surprised?
Given that he votes like a Republican on important issues
Like:

Tax cuts for the rich (HIM)

NOT voting on screw up medicare bill (insurance companies influence)

Sending us to war that was highly protest (in the special zones designated for that purpose)
Based on lies (which many of us knew were lies)

But the least known and most important factor about why Senator Cash and Kerry is being given all of the good press, and real patriots like Howard Dean are getting screwed:
Kerry's BIG MEDIA CONNECTIONS -
I will give you a few excerpts from a great article, but recommend you read the entire thing at the webite:

"Kerry's special relationship with the industry(Big MEDIA) should give pause to all people who cherish democracy"
"Kerry was a strong supporter of the Telecommunications Competition and Deregulation Act of 1995 and the Telecommunications Act of 1996"
"Clear Channel alone went from 40 stations to approximately 1,200 stations."
"Kerry and his wife Teresa Heinz Kerry have substantial holdings in telecommunications companies; between $17.6 million and $47.1 million of their combined fortune is held in companies with a stake in the industry,"

In 2002 the Massachusetts Telecommunications Council (a lobbying organization) named Kerry "Policy Maker of the Year."

Stop the Energy Bill in Any Form, Free Fax
02.12.04 (10:39 am)   [edit]
Legislative Update:
The status of the omnibus energy bill (H.R. 6, "The Energy Policy Act of 2003")
remains uncertain.
Sen. Pete Domenici (R-N.M.), Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN), and the energy bill's other supporters are plotting ways to enact the legislation, in full or in part, possibly by attaching the bill as an amendment to another bill.

In an attempt to make the energy bill more palatable, Sen. Domenici has announced that he is willing to remove the liability waiver to the manufacturers of the gasoline additive methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), a known contaminant of drinking water and possible carcinogen -- perhaps the most controversial measure in the bill.
While the waiver is certainly one of the most egregious parts of the bill, the bill still contains provisions that threaten groundwater, surface water, and drinking water supplies, and squanders billions of taxpayer dollars on subsidies to polluting industries.

Send your senators a (free) fax urging them to oppos the energy bill in any form at www.stopenergybill.org.

The National Labor Committee and China Labor Watch have reported

Questions Mount Over New Hampshire's Primary......
02.10.04 (9:09 pm)   [edit]
Questions Mount Over New Hampshire's Primary
by Lynn Landes

"It's been all downhill for Howard Dean since he lost the New Hampshire primary by a significant margin. But, now questions are being raised about the security of New Hampshire's voting system in the wake of a recent analysis of the election results. It could add up to nothing, but it does underscore how easily technology can be used to sabotage the voting process". . .

"New Hampshire is unusual.
Unlike many states that allow ballot-less voting, in 1995 the New Hampshire legislature passed a law that requires paper ballots in all elections.
Has this law made New Hampshire’s voting system any more secure?
Twenty percent of the ballots are hand-counted, but 80% are optically scanned - a technology that has a long history of being highly vulnerable to election fraud, which is documented in various reports as well as in the book, VoteScam: The Stealing of Democracy.

"Recently some people have been asking if the 2004 New Hampshire primary was rigged."

"Martin Bento published online an interesting analysis of New Hampshire's election results based on the voting systems used. It's been getting a lot of attention. According to Bento,
Howard Dean lost to John Kerry by only
1.6% when the ballots were hand-counted,
9.7% when ES&S optical scanners were used, and 14.7% on Diebold scanners.

"We don't audit our elections," says New Hampshire's Assistant Secretary of State Anthony Stevens...."

"Although New Hampshire law does not provide for audits, "it doesn't prohibit them either," says Assistant Attorney General Bud Fitch. Considering the fact that a handful of corporations control the optical scanners and vote tabulation system in the state, one would think that election officials would be more vigilant and less trusting."

Lord Have Mercy on This Country - Bush Trying to Privatize Social Security AGAIN
02.10.04 (7:46 pm)   [edit]
He is going for broke, knowing that no way in H will he be re-selected, he wants to push the old people out on an igloo to die! If social security had been privated 3 years ago, my mother would have nothing to live on at all.
I hate Bush.

President Bush, saying the economic recovery is firmly in place, yesterday proposed adding $1 trillion to the national debt to fund the cost of shifting to a partially privatized Social Security system.
The massive increase in debt, coming on top of a $7 trillion national debt that is growing by about $500 billion a year, adds controversy to what was already promising to be a difficult reform to get enacted.

Dick Cheney's Resume - Explains Why the U.S. Must Constantly Be At War
02.10.04 (3:10 pm)   [edit]
Maybe he should be called Dick the Ripper-
Outsourcing has been one of Cheney's most powerful tools to shift the source of power and money:In 1969, Rumsfeld and Cheney diminished the power of Lyndon Johnson's Office of Economic Opportunity by outsourcing many of its jobs.
In 1988, after the election of George H. W. Bush,
Cheney was named Secretary of Defense.
Cheney’s mandate was to
reduce forces,
cut weapons systems,
and close military bases. (Gee that is going on now)
"By the time he was done, the armed forces were at their lowest level since the Korean War"
IN STEPS HALLIBURTON:
"Toward the end of Cheney’s tenure, the Pentagon decided to turn over to a single company the bulk of the business of planning and providing support for military operations abroad—
tasks such as
preparing food,
doing the laundry, and
cleaning the latrines"
Halliburton Gains More War Business:
Somalia - hundred and nine million dollars.
Balkans - 2.2 billion for next five years
1995 - Cheney was hired by Halliburton

Cheney’s tenure at Halliburton the company did business in Iraq, Iran and Libya while the U.S. had imposed strict sanctions against them.
In Iraq, Halliburton legally evaded U.S. sanctions by conducting its oil-service business through its foreign subsidiaries.

It just gets worse, but explains why we keep getting into wars. The entire story in "The New Yorker" http://www.newyorker.com/fact...

"Bush Supports Shift of Jobs Overseas" White House Report to Congress
02.10.04 (8:41 am)   [edit]
"The loss of work to other countries, while painful in the short term, will enrich the economy eventually, his report to Congress says."
By Warren Vieth and Edwin Chen
Times Staff Writers
ebruary 10, 2004
WASHINGTON — "The movement of American factory jobs and white-collar work to other countries is part of a positive transformation that will enrich the U.S. economy over time, even if it causes short-term pain and dislocation, the Bush administration said Monday."

"The embrace of foreign outsourcing, an accelerating trend that has contributed to U.S. job losses in recent years and has become an issue in the 2004 elections, is contained in the president's annual report to Congress on the health of the economy."

"Outsourcing is just a new way of doing international trade," said N. Gregory Mankiw, chairman of Bush's Council of Economic Advisors, which prepared the report. "More things are tradable than were tradable in the past. And that's a good thing."

Citizens Should Demand Recount of N.H. paper Ballots
02.09.04 (7:26 pm)   [edit]
Why do you think Senator Kerry, fellow skull and bones member all of a sudden came up to front runner? Do you really want Kerry? Bush would implode anyway if he went another term. His own would get rid of him, think about it! Even they couldnt let him burn down their own country!

Howard Dean was leading.
The people picked Howard, with their meager checks from their real jobs:
As of Jan 31, 2004 here is how the candidates stood as far as contributions:

George W. Bush (R)
$131,774,275
(I know where G got his, he gets 1.25 Million everytime he visits a town full of rich Rangers)

Howard Dean (D)
$41,264,772
(Gets his money from everyday people who want to decide who is president)

John Kerry (D)
$28,209,341
(Skull and Bones Member, lent himself more money for New Hampshire, also big gobs of money from banking, investments and insurance co.s)

John Edwards (D)
$14,453,092

Wesley Clark (D)
$13,699,256

Lyndon H. Larouche Jr (D)
$9,469,783

Dennis Kucinich (D)
$6,227,898

Al Sharpton (D)
$433,142

Look up any politician here: http://www.opensecrets.org/pr...
Someone else picked Senator Kerry for us.
Skull and Bones to be in power again????????

Skull and Bones = Slavery

Citizens should demand that the paper ballots in New Hampshire be handcounted before they are destroyed (60 days after the election). There's a lot of discussion, and argument, on the internet about
apparent discrepancies between precincts where ballots were counted by hand
(Dean and Kerry nearly even)
and
precincts where they were counted by Diebold or ES&S optical scan devices.

The evidence is not clear, but only hand counting could clear this up. In the book "Votescam," written 12 years ago by the Collier brothers, since deceased, the first chapter deals with fraud in favor of George W.H. Bush in the New Hampshire primary of 1988.

Mobilizing on this issue could be the best way to get leverage to alert the whole country to vote fraud.

Look at the fraud in my state alone in past 3 years, much of it will be repeated, as nothing has changed:

John Kerry has been selected to replace Shrub.
Bush has done his job well, emptying the coffers of the taxpayer, and he cant steal much more from us.
Time to put in a "democrat" to supposedly remedy 4 years of a Bush in office.

Damaging the U.S. economy is not new to the Bush family.
You can always count on one of them to put Savings and Loans into default or some other fun thing.

Downplayed is Bush's membership in the Yale Secret Society of the "Skull and Bones".
Those that think as they are told will believe that the Skulls are just a fraternity and for partying etc.
The fact is, the Skull and Bones is a very elite organization, 15 seniors at Yale hand picked. They do not stop being a member when they graduate from Yale.

So we trade one Bones member for another.
Bush for Kerry.

What great things has Kerry ever done?
He voted to put us in a war against Iraq, benefiting only the War Profiteers, killing tens of thousands of Iraqis, men women and children. Kerry, unlike other democrats, was "tricked or misled"? by so called evidence that Iraq had WMDs? Really.

Well, I would rather have a president that voted AGAINST the LIE of the IRAQ war. One that was honest enough to be against the war.

Kerry has been a part of many scandals that remain unreported, and is dirty just like George Bush.

So, the democrats in their rush to find a savior, get an anti christ candidate.
Kerry for the war.
Kerry did not vote against medicare scam
Kerry will pardon Bush for all of his crimes, and pave the way for another Bush to rob us in the future.

Would you put your money in a bank that refused to allow you to verify your deposits, and your balance?

World-renowned computer scientist warns against the use of computerized voting.
So why would our State Board of elections allow us to use voting equipment that cannot be audited, the actual results can not be verified?

For a democracy to work, people must believe that that their vote is being counted fairly accurately.
This includes being able to do recounts when necessary.

New computerized voting machines register votes on a memory chip and then digitally transmit the results via telephone modem to election headquarters. We can only hope that neither glitches nor tampering will change or erase any of our votes. We all know that computers sometimes crash and lose data. Power cords get pulled out of the wall. And what better trophy for a hacker--or over zealous campaign worker--than to skew the outcome of the actual election?

There is a simple solution to these problems. The California Secretary of State has ordered that these new computerized voting machines print out a paper copy of your vote for your approval before the vote is registered. These printouts would then be saved in case the machines malfunction or there is any question as to whether or not they have been tampered with. Without them we would just have to trust the companies that make the machines--companies like Diebold whose CEO, Walden W. O'Dell, recently wrote in a fundraising letter for the Republicans, "I am committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the President next year."

True Majority Supports Paper Verified Voting-Fax Gov Reps Free C/O True Majority

This is good.
At least TRUE MAJORITY SUPPORTS A PAPER VERIFIED VOTE!

If you haven't been to their site to use this option to fax
your government representatives, then here is your chance now.
Go to this link: http://action.truemajority.co...

If you have a blog or other news groups, maybe you would mention it there, or remind them.

Also, the site has a great little statement or two that would be great to send to your Board of Elections Officials, which in North Carolina would be:

NC Board of Elections General Counsel - Don Wright

Exececutive Director NC State Board Elections - Gary Bartlett

One you visit the website where these files are kept, you will return over and over again. The fact that they are on the web, where everyone can see them, and the credibility of the content, speaks volumes.
Democracy may return to the U.S.

Resist Legislative Chicanery to Pass the Energy Bill!

Sen. Pete Domenici (R-N.M.), Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN), and the energy
bill's other supporters are plotting ways to enact the legislation, in
full or in part, possibly by attaching the bill as an amendment to
another bill. Proponents of energy legislation have floated the
multibillion-dollar highway funding bill (S.1072, "Safe, Accountable,
Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act of 2003") as a
possible vehicle for forcing through this atrocious legislation.
Attaching the successfully-filibustered energy bill to the non-germane
transportation bill would be an affront to the democratic process and a
perversion of proper parliamentary procedures!

WE MUST STOP THIS UNDERHANDED MANEUVER. Send a FREE FAX to your
senators via the PC Web site, urging them to oppose the energy bill in
any form:

MOVEON.ORG OR MORON.ORG?
02.04.04 (6:37 pm)   [edit]
WHY is MOVEON.ORG wasting our time with a who gives a crap censure of Shrub?Yes, it is stupid.
They seek to mobilize about 2 million of their members to do what: Censure Shrub? What good will that do?
Tell me. I really want to know.
We are going to slap him on the wrist?
I am sure that really scares him, moveon.

WHAT THEY SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON IS GETTING VERIFIED VOTING, GETTING HR2239 AND S1980
The Voter Confidence Act passed.http://www.verifiedvoting.com...

If you even think that MOVEON.ORG even cares about what the citizens want and need, then you can contact them via their webform here:
at MORON.ORG http://www.moveon.org/feedbac...

See if they change what they are doing, send them an email asking them to support verified voting.
Try it, just to see, ok?

Folks, I think that our President will be hand picked for us again, and it will be Kerry.

Moveon Calling for Censure of Bush - Email whipping boy!
02.03.04 (8:49 pm)   [edit]
Yee Hah! Moveon.org has almost 2 Million members.
Sidenote: I hear that Dick Cheney saw his shadow yesterday.

During the buildup to war, President Bush said the United States "must not ignore the threat gathering against us. Facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait for the final proof -- the smoking gun -- that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud.... We have every reason to assume the worst, and we have an urgent duty to prevent the worst from occurring." 1

On the eve of sending troops into battle, Bush asserted that "intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised." 2

Now David Kay, the CIA’s chief weapons inspector, has testified before Congress that these weapons do not exist

Super Bowl or Super Boob:

CBS made a bad decision by censoring Moveon.org's ad, but failing to censor its half-time show.
Now CBS is the laughing stock and also the enemy of the religious right.

Now I am glad that Moveon.org did not have its commercial on your channel.
In fact, I think I will request that they NEVER put a commercial on your stupid channel ever again!
Way to go, CBS (Can't Be Seen - by decent people)

Bush-lowest acceptable grade in Guard Pilot test, AWOL - Washington Post today
02.03.04 (9:53 am)   [edit]
Many say he wasn't AWOL but a DESERTED, based on the time he DISAPPEARED from duty.

"Questions about Bush's Guard service first surfaced during the 2000 presidential race, when he ran against Vice President Al Gore, a Vietnam veteran. A review of Bush's military records shows that Bush enjoyed preferential treatment as the son of a then-congressman, when he walked into a Texas Guard unit in Houston two weeks before his 1968 graduation from Yale and was moved to the top of a long waiting list."
"It was an era when service in the Guard was a coveted assignment, often associated with efforts to avoid active duty in Vietnam. Bush was accepted for pilot training after having scored only 25 percent on the pilot's aptitude test, the lowest acceptable grade." http://www.washingtonpost.com...

In 2000, the Boston Globe examined a period from May 1972 to May 1973 and found no record that Bush performed any Guard duties, either in Alabama or Houston, although he was still enlisted.

Do you just think Bush said there were WMD's in Iraq because someone fooled him? Misled him?
Then why doesn't he fire the incompetents?
Part of being a good manager is firing people that screw up! Feeling sorry for incompetent employees who risk our country's security and cause the deaths of thousands is not tolerable!
"It's official. Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction.
So sayest David Kay."
"That means everything Bush said about the threat from Iraq since his "Axis of Evil" State of the Union address in January 2002 was a lie."Investigation? What is there to investigate?
"There is only one question: Why hasn't Bush been impeached"
"it is his job to distinguish real threats to America from imaginary ones. That's why we pay him $400,000 per year, which is twice what Bill Clinton was paid."
http://democrats.com/view.cfm?id=19219" title="http://democrats.com/view.cfm?id=19219" target="_blank"http://democrats.com/view.cfm...
There are alot of weapons of mass destruction right here in the U.S.A. And we have not destroyed them.
Saddam Evil?
Then the U.S.A should not have set him up in power.
Saddam needs to go? Then why kill everyone else?
Why did Reagan/Bush I help him get the weapons of mass destruction that are all gone now?
Why did Rumsfeld make sure that "farm loans" were made available so that Saddam could purchase said weapons.
Why did Rumsfeld/Reagn/BushI look the other way when Saddam deployed WMDs on the Iraqi Kurds.
It is all part of the Plan for the New American Century. The neo cons have a website that lays out the plans to take over the persian gulf, and forecast this entire mess.

Do I absolve Clinton from any of the corruption that Bush was absolved in? No.
Clinton and Bush both dealt with some of the same Chinese interests that have hurt our country economically. Bush has killed far more people, but that doesnt make any killing right.
He pretends to be a Christian, using the zealousness
of Christian believers to help him win support.
He promises to clean up the Whitehouse, restore dignity and integrity, yet takes NO REsponsibility for any of his actions, decisions, or non-decisions.
Pretending to be a Christian, he puts over the FCC the worst Director it may have ever had, Colin Powell's son Micheal. Thanks to that, we have our children being exposed to Britney Spears and Madonna tongue kissing.
Wow, great Christian leadership there. Oh dont worry,
Janet Jackson accidentally fell out of her top after having it ripped off.
Now, thanks to the FCC director, we get to hear the F word on regular tv as long as it is used as an adjective.
Where are the fruits of the tree, oh pretend Christian Bush?
Why doesn't Bush resign from the Secret Society of the Skull and Bones?Did he enjoy what they did in that coffin during initiation?
Yet hippocritically claims to espouse fundamentalism Christianity.
Britney Spears in the choir, Madonna writing childrens books, our new role models in 2004.
